I have no idea what happened there. The radio and monitor blipped; the monitor wouldn’t turn off by the on/off button but a power cycle later, we seem to be behaving.

I’m pretty sure that’s bad.

meh. These look crappy like this. For some reason the color in the originals doesn’t show unless the file size is huge, especially on the ones with a lot of yellow in them. Weird. I guess I need to put ‘em on Flickr.

I don’t know what colors they are supposed to be, but they are gorgeous.

The Power Station - “Some Like it Hot”

To this moment, the HUGEST disappointment of my life was when I found out that Robert Palmer wasn’t going out on tour with Power Station. When I found out who his replacement was going to be (Michael Des Barres), I almost ripped my tickets up (but I could never do that to John T).

Thank God for ION.

I thought you were talking about the channel that used to be Pax.

@inothernews > reruns of Boston Legal

Hip to the slang, dude.

I don’t know y’all…Boston Legal has Spader, the Shat, and never roots for the Yankees. It’s a toss-up at best.

Ain’t Even Done With The Night — John Mellencamp (when he was about 12).  His first Top 20 song, and it holds up really well.

John Cougar! There was no Mellencamp back then!

I’m not the huge Mellenhead I used to be - the song that became the Chevy theme just crawls away in shame and hides when put next to “Blood Rain on the Scarecrow (blood on the plow)”, “Pink Houses”, and “Paper in Fire”. Man put on a hell of a show back in the day, though.

I never found out if that crabcake was any good, J.

Was it good enough to warrant that smartass comment from the waitress?

It was ok… I prefer the local place near me, Michael’s. For my money they have the best crabcake. Or Tal’s aunt? Grandmother?

Aunt as I recall.

Aunt. Fried. I’ll see if they’re on the calendar anytime soon and perhaps live-tumbl them for you. :D

Today's the day of the meetup, Baltimore style.

It’s because we’re the cool kids.

One of us was downright cold, even.

every night…

For now I just have the one on the butt, except I’m usually on my side so he’s on my hip.

It’s me, Woolie. Making a travel edition or a lite version. I try not to miss anything but I always do and can never catch up and that makes me more depressed. So at least I can come here and hopefully catch up a little bit.

Keith Richards was born the day before us.

Tyson Beckford was born ON our birthday.

I hope that model show is back on the Bravo soon.

And Jake Gyllenhaal!

And Alyssa Milano!

If Keith Richards was born the day before you, I was born the day after!
